December Glossybox 2016

A little late with posting this as we are now into January but I thought what the hell I can still share the December Glossybox before the January one arrives in my post.
The box is stunning. White with gold trimming around the edges and a gorgeous gold mistletoe detailing on the front with a gold glossybox label.

September 2016 Glossy Box - The Editor's Choice Red Edition

It's back!! I signed up to Glossybox again because I feel I would use a lot more of the products now than I did almost 2 years ago when I first signed up. Plus, I miss the excitement of receiving a box every month as it feels like a present to myself haha!

Ciaté Mini Mani Manor 2014 Christmas Advent Calendar

Hey! I came across Ciaté's 2014 Christmas advent calendar on their website and it was on sale from £49 to only £14.70!! I couldn't resist such a good deal! Not too long a go I managed to get myself either the calendar from 2012 or 2013 from TKMaxx for only £20 so I didn't bother buying this one as I thought I would end up with lots of the same shades but since it was only £14.70 it was too good to not get it....and! I only got I think 2 shades that I already have so it was totally worth it :D.

Review: Primark's Nail Polish Fast Dry Spray

I took a trip into Primark recently while Christmas shopping and of course I had to go to their bits and bobs section you know like nail polishes, face wipes, make-up and so on since they are all perfect for stocking fillers when I came across the new P.S Love Your Nails Nail Polish Fast Dry Spray (wow that's long).
I grabbed this without question because it was only 80 frickin' pence! It's only 50ml but it's enough for a few good uses. All you do is spray this on to your nails holding after painting them, holding it a few centimetres away from them and it helps them to dry quicker. I actually really like this one, I just wish it was bigger and had a scent to it.
I already have the Elegant Touch one which I received in one of my Glossy Boxes a while a go and still use it. These are such a great thing to have and use if you are in a hurry and don't have a lot of time to sit and wait for your nails to dry.

Pros:
  • Cheap and cheerful.
  • Lives up to what it's supposed to do.
  • Leaves the nails feeling smooth.

Cons:
  • Wish it came in a bigger can.
  • Scentless.

More TK Maxx Bargains

Whenever I come across a TK Maxx now, I can't help myself and go in to see if I can snap up any more bargains which I certainly did this time. I go straight to the beauty section and look specifically for any good nail polishes I can get my hands on for a great price.
I came across the Ciaté Haute House collection and the Nail Taxi collection also from Ciaté. I love nail polishes from this brand and have managed to build up my collection quite a bit in the past few months down to finding them cheap in TK Maxx.
I also found either the 2012/2013 advent calendar a while back but never got round to doing a blog post about it.

The Haute House contained 5 mini nail polishes in gorgeous metallic colours which are perfect for this time of year. From left to right we have:
  • Can Can
  • For The Frill Of It
  • Sass Pot
  • Kness Highs
  • Tickly My Fancy
It was reduced from £22.00 to just £7.99! Amazing!

The Nail Taxi collection contained 3 full sized nail polishes which are:
  • Chinchilla
  • Mistress
  • London Baby
This was reduced from £20 to £7.99. Again, amazing!

Nail Polish Haul

Hello! I hope you have all had a lovely Monday and it's not been too much of a drag for you. Over the past few weeks my work (Tesco) have been reducing some of the make-up as they are getting rid of the old stuff to make room for new make-up. Do you want the good or bad news first? Okay I'll give you the bad news first.
The bad news is that the BarryM make-up stand is being replaced *tear starts to roll down cheek*. The good news is all the BarryM make-up including nail polishes were all reduced!! I went freaking crazy when I noticed it!! All gelly, matte, silk and the aquamarine polishes were all down to £1.99 each and all nail paint, glitters, top coats and base coats were all down to £1.49, with the odd ones at only 74p! I couldn't believe my eye balls! So I did go a bit crazy and bought a lot but it wasn't all at once.

From left to right:
  • Raspberry
  • Berry
  • Strawberry
  • Blue Moon
  • Aqua Glitter
  • Pink Saphire
From left to right:
  • Espresso
  • Miami
  • Copa Cobana
  • Waikiki
  • Malibu
From left to right:
  • Plum
  • Passion Fruit
  • Blueberry
  • Lychee
From left to right:
  • Pacific
  • Mediterranean
I also had a quick look in TK Maxx to see if they had any bargains and I managed to get two Ciaté nail polishes reduced to only £2.00! The pink one only has a spillage of another nail polish on it's bow and I don't know what's wrong with the green one. The green one is very bright but since it was around Halloween at the time I thought it was very appropriate and for £2.00 it's a bargain! The only annoying thing is the labels are stuck on and I can't get them off properly but never mind :).

Magazine Freebie #6

As you all know I love a good magazine freebie so when I seen December's edition of Glamour mag giving away Nails Inc nail polishes free with their magazine which is only £2.00 I couldn't resist the bargain!
Nails Inc nail polishes start from £11.00 each so this was a total steal! There are 4 different colours to choose from but I had to get all 4. So I got £44.00 worth of nail polishes for only £8.00. That's still less than what one would cost! Crazy!

The four colours available are (from left to right):
Wigmore Street
Hanover Street
Tate
Marylebone Mews

These colours are gorgeous for this time of year! So Autumn-y. I can't wait to try these. If I was you I would snap these up as soon as possible because I'm sure these will disappear fast!

Nicole by O.P.I

I had a package delivered to me today and couldn't wait to blog about it. I love OPI nail polishes but think they are expensive. I've always fancied trying the Nicole range simply because there is such an amazing range of colours and all look gorgeous! Btw....who is Nicole? Let me know in the comments haha!
I came across a website called Direct Cosmetics which is amazing! It's basically like a drugstore but everything is cheaper! That's where I found these nail polishes. These retail at about £6.99 but on this website they are only £1.99!! I couldn't believe how cheap they were and they have loads of different colours!
The bottles are huge as well (15ml) and will last forever. I only bought 5 but I will definitely be going back and filling up my cart with more!
From left to right we have:
  • I Love You Cherry Much
  • I Orchid You Not!
  • Pink Seriously
  • Pink-Nic In The Park
  • Hint Of Mint
I cannot wait to try these colours especially the purple and the mint one!

New BarryM Silk - Orchid & Poppy

As soon as I found out BarryM had brought out more nail polishes to the silk collection I was down the shops as soon as!
There are 3 new colours to the collection:
  • Orchid
  • Poppy
  • Forrest
I went for 2 out of the 3 as Forrest (which is a blue/green colour) looked slightly similar to a nail polish I already have, saying that, I'll probably go back it haha!. If the '3 for 2' offer had been available I would have just bought it but unfortunately that deal wasn't on in Boots or Superdrug. However, Boots were offering a free mascara when you spent £7.00 or more on any of the BarryM range. The mascara is also BarryM and is called Showgirl.
There were two mascaras to choose from, one for volume and one for lengthening your eye lashes. I chose the lengthening one as I preferred the brush on it.
I absolutely love the shades of the nail polishes and they are perfect for this time of year. I also think the names of them are so appropriate for each shade.

Have you tried any from the silk collection?

Magazine Freebie #5

First of all I want to thank every single one of you who follow and read my blog. I received an e-mail last night from bloglovin saying it had reached 700 followers! That is crazy!
Anyways....this post is one of my faves to do and sorry it's a bit late this month! Every month I run to the magazine aisle in the supermarket to see what freebies are in the magazines! This months was a good one!
This is the October edition of Cosmopolitan magazine with Rochelle from The Saturdays on the front and inside you receive a mini ORLY nail polish free! The magazine itself wasn't on offer this time so was £3.80 but I didn't mind about that because for a really good nail polish that's great!
There is 4 colours to grab but this one was my fave. It's a bright neon pink and is called "Passion Fruit". I haven't tried this on my nails yet but cannot wait to!

Have you found any good bargains recently free with magazines? Let me know in the comments :) xoxo

New Beauty Wish List

                     Beauty Wishlist

1. Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs - Everyone has gone mad for this new fragrance and I don't blame them. Look at just how gorgeous the bottle is! I haven't smelt this perfume yet so I don't know what the scent is like but I imagine it will be lovely!
2. Tangle Teezer - I still haven't tried a tangle teezer but really want to although I think they are quite expensive. This one really stood out to me as the colours are so bright and go well together.
3. OPI Can't Find My Czechbook - How amazing is this colour? It would look soooo nice and especially at this time of year!
4. Ted Baker Wash Bag - This wash bag is so cute! I think Ted Baker's stuff is gorgeous and so girly so this would be lovely to have to put all my beauty things in when travelling.
5. EOS Organic Lip Balm - I've only tried the strawberry EOS lip balm and loved it! The fact that this one is organic really intrigues me.
6. Essie Sittin' Pretty Nail Polish - Absolutely love this colour of purple! I am a sucker for pastel colours. I need this in my life!
7. MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick - So I am trying to be more adventurous now and wanting to try out some make-up products. Nothing like foundation or that but I would love to just go for a bright red lipstick to see what I would like so this one would be perfect!

July Glossy Box 2014 - Stars and Stripes

Hellooooo my lovelies! It's been a while since I've last posted so today I am back with my last Glossy box review. Yes that's right, my last one! I will be cancelling my subscription as I feel it's a waste of money for myself as I keep receiving products I wont use. It is sad but it's the right thing to do :).
This months theme is Stars and Stripes to celebrate the 4th of July in America. There are 3 things in this box that I will definitely use so I'm happy with that. These are also all full sized products which is great! I had enough glossy dots to get this box free so I didn't pay a penny for it :D.

Carmex - Lip Balm
"Loved by celebrities and makeup artists all over the world, Carmex is the original lip balm and the only way to sooth dry, chapped lips. With menthol, camphor and beeswax, lips are nourished, conditioned, and protected from the elements all year round. You need this staple in your bag!"
I love carmex lip balms so I'm really happy with this although it's not expensive so feel it's not very special to receive this in the box when I can just go out and get it at Tesco.
Application - "Apply to lips with a clean finger."
One size - £2.69                                                    Shop at - graftonsbeauty.co.uk

Bellapierre Cosmetics Ltd - Mineral Lipstick
"This cult American favourite is formulated with natural waxes, mineral pigments, and antioxidants including Vitamin C and Vitamin E, providing long lasting colour and protecton against the sun."
I don't own any lipsticks as I don't wear them. I might give this a go but would've rather had a bright red one because I've been tempted to just go all out and wear one on a night out haha! This colour is really pretty though :).
Application - "Smooth on lips for a slick of colour."
One size - £20 (holy moly!)                                         Shop at - bellapierre.co.uk

Absolute New York - Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer
"This oil free, ultra-creamy formula evens skin tone around the eye area and keeps eyeshadow crease-free and colour-true for a lasting look."
I wont use this so not excited about it!
Application - "Apply a thin layer over eyelids and gently blend with fingers to create an even base. Wear product alone to neutralise redness and brighten eyes pr layer under your favourite shadow for a prolonged vibrant colour."
One size - $4.99                                                                    Shop at - nicka.com

NYC New York Color - High Definition Felt Tip Liner - Extra
"Discover NYC's black liquid liner in the flexi felt tip. Simple. Pick a liner look, and then do it like a NY fashion week pro: first time."
I do like to wear liquid eye liner when I go on a night out so I'm excited to try this! The past felt tip liners I've tried haven't impressed me so far so hopefully this will :).
Application: "Draw along the top lash line with a closed eye for an easy application."
One size: £2.99 per pack                                            Shop at: superdrug.com

Color Club - Glossy Seal
"Color Club nail polish is proudly made in New York with only non-toxic, cruelty free ingredients. The shade Glossy Seal has been especially formulated for your July Glossybox!"
That's so cool how it's been made especially for this months box! I will definitely use this as you all know how much I love nail polish! You can't have too much of it :P
Application - "Apply 2 thin coats to clean, dry nails and seal with a top coat."
One size - $8 for 15ml                                            Shop at - shopcolorclub.com

So there we go, my July glossy box and my last glossy box! Who knows maybe I'll subscribe again but for now it's cancelled. I'd love to know what you thought of your box this month if you're subscribed.
Thanks for reading xoxo

June Glossy Box 2014 - Summer Edition

Hey peeps, hope your Monday is a good one! It's time for my June glossy box! I received this the week it was despatched but I've been away from home so haven't had the chance to do a blog post on it so here it is now! :)
Before I start I just wanna say that I am getting more and more disappointed and I think it's time to unsubscribe for good. It's just annoying how this box and last box has makeup in it and I wont use it so it's just a waste. However, I am due a free box next month as I've collected enough glossy dots so there will be a July box and then we'll see :P.

Nailgirls - 3 in 1 base/topcoat & nail strengthener
"This new longer lasting top coat combines the perfect base and nail hardener in one easy to use product."
I don't own a top coat nail polish so this was quite good to receive although when I saw a nail polish I was quite disappointed as it wasn't coloured but hey ho it's good to have I suppose.
Application - " Apply the nail hardener and allow it to dry before applying your favourite colour. Allow that layer to dry before applying a final top coat."
Full size - £13.50 for 15ml                Shop at - www.nailgirls.co.uk

Got2b - Rise 'n shine soufflé
"Create stand-out styles with textured volume and silky shine without weighing your hair down thanks to this innovative, multi-benefit styling product. The jasmine infused fragrance provides the ultimate finish for unforgettable hair!"
This is probably what I'm most excited about. It looks like a strawberry moose yoghurt haha and it smells soooo good! I look forward to try this!
Application - "Rub a small amount of the soufflé between your palms, work through the lengths of dry hair and style as desired. For an extra boost apply a little extra to your finger tips and work into the roots, lifting as you style."
Full size - £4.07 for 100ml                           Shop at - www.superdrug.com

Teeez Trend Cosmetics - Beautiful Flat Stiff Brush
"This premium quality brush allows you to apply powder and cream eye shadow with ease. A make-up brush essential for your kit."
This will just sit in a drawer :( Don't get me wrong it's such a nice brush, so pretty :)
Application - "Dab the product and glide effortlessly and smoothly along the eyelid area. Clean the brush regularly to avoid product build up."
Full size - €19                                                Shop at - www.nelly.com

Roger&Gallet - Fleur de Figuier discovery ritual Shower Cream, Body Lotion and Eau Fraîche Fragrance
"Created by renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdijan, these fruit-floral and fig inspired scents allow your senses to take a break reminiscent of a walk through a Mediterranean garden."
These look really nice but just wish the samples were a bit bigger.
Application - "Cleanse yourself with the shower cream, replenish your body's moisture with the body cream and dab yourself with the fragrance for an all over irresistible scent."
Full size - Eau Fraiche £32 for 100ml, Body Lotion £13 for 200ml, Shower Cream £9.50 for 200ml.

So Susan Cosmetics - Concealer Quad
"Formulated with virgin marula oil, this compact quad can be used to cover minor blemishes and imperfections. It's lightweight formula makes it ideal for summer. To create a flawless looking complexion, use the quad as an all-in-one contouring kit."
Not for me :(
Application - "Dot over the desired area and blend in gently until full coverage is achieved."
Full size - £20                                                 Shop at  - www.sosusan.com

Wow you guys must think I'm a right moan haha! It's just I should be received products that I would actually use...isn't that what our survey is for? I understand that they can't make individual boxes for everyone but at least throw in a couple of products that I'd actually use! :P Let's hope my free box is a good one!
xoxo
