Ciaté London Baby

I am in love with this nail polish! I got this in the Nail Taxi collection a long with two other gorgeous colours. As it's almost Christmas I wanted to paint my nails with something with a bit of sparkle so thought this was perfect!
It's got black in it with silver glitter but I applied this on top of BarryM's Matte Espresso as I wasn't sure how well it was going to come out on my nails.
It's so so pretty! The glitter comes out actually really well however I'm not sure if it shows the black as well on a bare nail as I haven't tried this. Black isn't really a Christmassy colour but for now until then it's okay isn't it?
Do you have a favourite nail polish you wear every Christmas?

Do you have a "go to" nail polish every Christmas?
Have a lovely Christmas!

Easy Christmas Nails

I wanted to share with you my favourite Christmassy nails I like to do every year and is very quick and easy to do. You don't need any nail art pens or anything like that, all you need is a red nail polish and a gold glitter polish.
This year I've chosen to go with 'Mistress' by Ciaté and 'Hair Band' by Orly. You can choose which ever brands you like and whether you prefer a bright red or a dark red is entirely up to you. You don't even have to go with red you can choose another Christmassy colour such as a dark green and maybe a silver glitter.
So all you need to do is paint your nails with the colour that you've chosen for your base and apply as many coats as needed. Once dry, apply you glitter nail polish on top. I like to make them quite glittery so applied quite a lot. And that's it....haha! Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
I just think they look absolutely gorgeous for this time of year and I always get compliments on them so that's why I wanted to share them with you lovely people!
To finish off I would spray Primark's Nail Polish Fast Dry Spray onto them to give them some shine and of course to help them dry quicker.

If you attempt these I would love to see you pictures! You can tag me on instagram if you upload them there...my user name is @bambigemgem.

More TK Maxx Bargains
Whenever I come across a TK Maxx now, I can't help myself and go in to see if I can snap up any more bargains which I certainly did this time. I go straight to the beauty section and look specifically for any good nail polishes I can get my hands on for a great price.
I came across the Ciaté Haute House collection and the Nail Taxi collection also from Ciaté. I love nail polishes from this brand and have managed to build up my collection quite a bit in the past few months down to finding them cheap in TK Maxx.
I also found either the 2012/2013 advent calendar a while back but never got round to doing a blog post about it.
The Haute House contained 5 mini nail polishes in gorgeous metallic colours which are perfect for this time of year. From left to right we have:
- Can Can
- For The Frill Of It
- Sass Pot
- Kness Highs
- Tickly My Fancy
It was reduced from £22.00 to just £7.99! Amazing!
The Nail Taxi collection contained 3 full sized nail polishes which are:
- Chinchilla
- Mistress
- London Baby
This was reduced from £20 to £7.99. Again, amazing!

Nail Polish Haul
Hello! I hope you have all had a lovely Monday and it's not been too much of a drag for you. Over the past few weeks my work (Tesco) have been reducing some of the make-up as they are getting rid of the old stuff to make room for new make-up. Do you want the good or bad news first? Okay I'll give you the bad news first.
The bad news is that the BarryM make-up stand is being replaced *tear starts to roll down cheek*. The good news is all the BarryM make-up including nail polishes were all reduced!! I went freaking crazy when I noticed it!! All gelly, matte, silk and the aquamarine polishes were all down to £1.99 each and all nail paint, glitters, top coats and base coats were all down to £1.49, with the odd ones at only 74p! I couldn't believe my eye balls! So I did go a bit crazy and bought a lot but it wasn't all at once.
From left to right:
- Raspberry
- Berry
- Strawberry
- Blue Moon
- Aqua Glitter
- Pink Saphire
From left to right:
- Espresso
- Miami
- Copa Cobana
- Waikiki
- Malibu
From left to right:
- Plum
- Passion Fruit
- Blueberry
- Lychee
From left to right:
- Pacific
- Mediterranean
I also had a quick look in TK Maxx to see if they had any bargains and I managed to get two Ciaté nail polishes reduced to only £2.00! The pink one only has a spillage of another nail polish on it's bow and I don't know what's wrong with the green one. The green one is very bright but since it was around Halloween at the time I thought it was very appropriate and for £2.00 it's a bargain! The only annoying thing is the labels are stuck on and I can't get them off properly but never mind :).

Magazine Freebie #4

Hey peeps! This months freebie is from the July edition of Marie Claire featuring the gorgeous Abbey Clancy. This magazine contains a Cîate mini nail polish set worth £10! The magazine itself is only £2.50!! Another amazing bargain! I love the cîate nail polishes but are in with the more expensive nail polishes that I would buy unless they were on offer.
The comes with one coloured polish and the other one has the little beads where after you've used the coloured one you dip your nail in the beads and it creates a gorrrrgeous look.
I've never tried the beads before so can't wait to give them a go! It's gonna be messy though!
On the back of the mag it had all the colours you can get but these 2 sets were the only ones left in the Tesco I was in and to be honest I feel very lucky to get the purple one as it's soooooo pretty!!
Colours from left to right are:
- Ice Queen
- Sugar Plum
- Teardrop Treasure
- Ivory Queen.
I love doing these posts because I find something so good I just can't wait to share it with you!
xoxo

February Glossy Box 2014 - Valentines Edition
Hey! I am so excited to share with you guys what I got in my February glossy box!! It's been one of my fave ones.......actually probably my fave one yet and to make it even better it was free as I had my glossy dots to redeem. WIN! This is the Valentines edition and just look at the box! I love themed boxes! :D
Eldora - Eyelashes
"Every cosmetic connoisseur will adore these simple and beautiful, high quality lashes by Eldora. Their extensive range means there's a style to suit everyone."
Every girl likes to try out different false lashes don't they? So I'm looking forward to trying these ones out. They're not too outrageous for myself as I don't like big thick long ones, these look more on the natural side I guess. I'm not the best at applying fake eyelashes but I'll give it a go. I also haven't heard of this brand before which I guess is always nice to get a brand unknown to yourself to give you the chance to try it out!
Application - "Remove lashes from their platform, gently apply the lash adhesive onto the band and wait until the glue is slightly tacky. Pressing gently, rest just above the base of your own natural lash beginning at the corner working outwards and you'll have fantastic looking lashes in a flutter."
Full size - from £3.99 Shop at - www.eldorashop.co.uk
Ciaté London - Paint Pot
"Do you want stunningly sophisticated looking nails? Look no further than a Ciaté Paint Pot. These lovingly chosen and high performance formulas provide you with an effortless nail colour."
This is what I most excited to get! I have never tried this brand of nail polish before and have wanted to for ages but again it's a brand that is quite pricey and could never bring myself to get one. The packaging is gorgeous and of course so is this colour! It's a pinky purply colour and I can't wait to try it out! I will probably do a separate post on this and even better this is full size! :D
Application - "Apply one coat of Ciaté polish leaving to dry before you apply the second coat covering the top of the nail, then apply the "speed coat" (top coat) to seal in your manicure."
Full size - £9.00 for 13.5ml Shop at - www.ciate.co.uk
Maybelline New York - Big Eyes Mascara
"Double the drama with Maybelline's first eye-opening double bursh mascara. Built with specific upper and lower lash brushes, Big Eyes Mascara produces an all-around eye-opening effect."
Believe it or not I was actually just looking at this mascara the other day when I was in work and was tempted to buy it! I'm so glad I didn't! This is a brand new mascara and it looks so good! It has two brushes - one for the top lashes and a smaller brush for the bottoms lashes. I never normally wear mascara on my bottom eye lashes simple because the brush is always too big and it ends up all down my cheek but this, I am excited to try!!
Application - "Build up application for flirtatious false lash effect."
Full size - £8.99 Shop at - ww.boots.com
Nougat London - Sparkling Body Shimmer
"Add radiance to your skincare regime with Sparkling Body Shimmer. This body lotion with mallow extract, vitamin E and wheatgerm enriched oil will leave your skin luxuriously perfumed with a hint of sparkle."
This is such a nice shimmery pink colour and very generous sample size of 100ml. I don't really use body lotions but am willing to give it a try as it looks too nice to neglect.
Application - "Apply the body lotion and let dry for the look of radiant glamour. Use on you décolletage (what is that??) to create a flowing effect or on your legs to create the illusion of them being longer."
Full size - £14.00 for 250ml Shop at - www.nougatlondon.co.uk
Giovanni Eco Chic cosmetics - Chic ultra-moist range OR Chic ultra-sleek range
"Giovanni Eco Chic cosmetics is the #1 selling natural hair care brand in the United States. Contains natural ingredients including Moroccan argan pols, avocado and papaya to treat and nourish your hair and scalp."
I'm not really a fan of receiving foil packets in these beauty boxes as you can get them free from magazines and things but as these are shampoo, conditioner and a hair mask which I am always going to need then I'm not going to complain :) I'm excited to try the hair mask as I've never tried one before.
Application - "See packaging"
Full size - Shampoo and Conditioner £7.99 for 251ml.....doesn't say how much hair mask is:(
Shop at - www.healthbeautynetwork.co.uk
Lindt - Lindor Treat Bar
"Indulge yourself with Lindt's most famous chocolate, Lindor. Its irresistibly smooth and melting filling makes it a perfect little treat at any time."
This was a bonus! A very generous size of chocolate bar! I love the Lindt chocolate balls so this was so nice to receive! This however did not last long at all! Haha!
One size - £0.79 for one bar (38g), £16.59 for 24 bars
Shop at - Tesco, Sainsburys for single bar and at www.lindt-shop.co.uk for a multi-pack.
Let me know if you got anything different in your box because I'd love to see! Leave your link to your glossy box post in the comments. For my January box click the link :) xoxo
