Easy Christmas Nails

I wanted to share with you my favourite Christmassy nails I like to do every year and is very quick and easy to do. You don't need any nail art pens or anything like that, all you need is a red nail polish and a gold glitter polish.
This year I've chosen to go with 'Mistress' by Ciaté and 'Hair Band' by Orly. You can choose which ever brands you like and whether you prefer a bright red or a dark red is entirely up to you. You don't even have to go with red you can choose another Christmassy colour such as a dark green and maybe a silver glitter.
So all you need to do is paint your nails with the colour that you've chosen for your base and apply as many coats as needed. Once dry, apply you glitter nail polish on top. I like to make them quite glittery so applied quite a lot. And that's it....haha! Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
I just think they look absolutely gorgeous for this time of year and I always get compliments on them so that's why I wanted to share them with you lovely people!
To finish off I would spray Primark's Nail Polish Fast Dry Spray onto them to give them some shine and of course to help them dry quicker.

If you attempt these I would love to see you pictures! You can tag me on instagram if you upload them there...my user name is @bambigemgem.

More TK Maxx Bargains

Whenever I come across a TK Maxx now, I can't help myself and go in to see if I can snap up any more bargains which I certainly did this time. I go straight to the beauty section and look specifically for any good nail polishes I can get my hands on for a great price.
I came across the Ciaté Haute House collection and the Nail Taxi collection also from Ciaté. I love nail polishes from this brand and have managed to build up my collection quite a bit in the past few months down to finding them cheap in TK Maxx.
I also found either the 2012/2013 advent calendar a while back but never got round to doing a blog post about it.

The Haute House contained 5 mini nail polishes in gorgeous metallic colours which are perfect for this time of year. From left to right we have:
  • Can Can
  • For The Frill Of It
  • Sass Pot
  • Kness Highs
  • Tickly My Fancy
It was reduced from £22.00 to just £7.99! Amazing!

The Nail Taxi collection contained 3 full sized nail polishes which are:
  • Chinchilla
  • Mistress
  • London Baby
This was reduced from £20 to £7.99. Again, amazing!

Nail Polish Haul

Hello! I hope you have all had a lovely Monday and it's not been too much of a drag for you. Over the past few weeks my work (Tesco) have been reducing some of the make-up as they are getting rid of the old stuff to make room for new make-up. Do you want the good or bad news first? Okay I'll give you the bad news first.
The bad news is that the BarryM make-up stand is being replaced *tear starts to roll down cheek*. The good news is all the BarryM make-up including nail polishes were all reduced!! I went freaking crazy when I noticed it!! All gelly, matte, silk and the aquamarine polishes were all down to £1.99 each and all nail paint, glitters, top coats and base coats were all down to £1.49, with the odd ones at only 74p! I couldn't believe my eye balls! So I did go a bit crazy and bought a lot but it wasn't all at once.

From left to right:
  • Raspberry
  • Berry
  • Strawberry
  • Blue Moon
  • Aqua Glitter
  • Pink Saphire
From left to right:
  • Espresso
  • Miami
  • Copa Cobana
  • Waikiki
  • Malibu
From left to right:
  • Plum
  • Passion Fruit
  • Blueberry
  • Lychee
From left to right:
  • Pacific
  • Mediterranean
I also had a quick look in TK Maxx to see if they had any bargains and I managed to get two Ciaté nail polishes reduced to only £2.00! The pink one only has a spillage of another nail polish on it's bow and I don't know what's wrong with the green one. The green one is very bright but since it was around Halloween at the time I thought it was very appropriate and for £2.00 it's a bargain! The only annoying thing is the labels are stuck on and I can't get them off properly but never mind :).

Magazine Freebie #6

As you all know I love a good magazine freebie so when I seen December's edition of Glamour mag giving away Nails Inc nail polishes free with their magazine which is only £2.00 I couldn't resist the bargain!
Nails Inc nail polishes start from £11.00 each so this was a total steal! There are 4 different colours to choose from but I had to get all 4. So I got £44.00 worth of nail polishes for only £8.00. That's still less than what one would cost! Crazy!

The four colours available are (from left to right):
Wigmore Street
Hanover Street
Tate
Marylebone Mews

These colours are gorgeous for this time of year! So Autumn-y. I can't wait to try these. If I was you I would snap these up as soon as possible because I'm sure these will disappear fast!

New BarryM Silk - Orchid & Poppy

As soon as I found out BarryM had brought out more nail polishes to the silk collection I was down the shops as soon as!
There are 3 new colours to the collection:
  • Orchid
  • Poppy
  • Forrest
I went for 2 out of the 3 as Forrest (which is a blue/green colour) looked slightly similar to a nail polish I already have, saying that, I'll probably go back it haha!. If the '3 for 2' offer had been available I would have just bought it but unfortunately that deal wasn't on in Boots or Superdrug. However, Boots were offering a free mascara when you spent £7.00 or more on any of the BarryM range. The mascara is also BarryM and is called Showgirl.
There were two mascaras to choose from, one for volume and one for lengthening your eye lashes. I chose the lengthening one as I preferred the brush on it.
I absolutely love the shades of the nail polishes and they are perfect for this time of year. I also think the names of them are so appropriate for each shade.

Have you tried any from the silk collection?

Nails Inc. Lucky Dip!

I am super dooper excited to share with you lovely people my absolute BARGAIN I found!! So as you all know I am a nail polish addict and I just can't get enough of buying more. In the UK we have a website called Wowcher which is the same as Groupon where you get sent all these different kind of deals that are on at the time. I woke up to one from Wowcher with this AMAZING deal for Nails Inc. The deal was buy a lucky dip of 7 nail polishes for £19.99, 10 for £24.99 or 15 for £29.00. These nail polishes are normall £11.00 each which you know that I would never ever ever buy a nail polish at that price! So I could not pass up the chance on this amazing-ness. I was originally gonna go for the 10 for £24.99 but then thought "for an extra £4.00 you can get another 5!!!" so I thought screw it lets go for it! For £29.00 I got...wait for it.....£165.00 worth of nail polishes which means I saved £131.00! That is cray-zeeeee. Postage was £3.95 which I didn't mind paying and the order didn't take long to come at all!

The package was wrapped in lovely Nails Inc. paper and came with a free Kinder Bueno nom! I also put a little message in for myself saying "Happy Birthday to me!" since it's my birthday next week and wanted to treat myself haha! They each came individually wrapped in bubble wrap which was nice of them to do.

From left to right we have:
  • Seven Dials
  • Holland Park Gardens
  • Boltons Place
  • Hampstead Gardens
  • Little Chester Street

Katy Perry - Killer Queen Gift Set

In my October Glossybox I received a sample of Katy Perry's new perfume Killer Queen. I fell in love with it straight away, it smells amazing! I asked for it for my Christmas from my sister and she got me the gift set which contains a 30ml bottle of the perfume itself, a body lotion and a shower gel which are both 75ml. I can't really describe the smell of the perfume as I am totally rubbish at describing scents but trust me it smells soooo good! I am already half way through the bottle so I need to get me some more and stock up!
You can get this pretty much anywhere such as Superdrug, Boots, The Perfume Shop and online! The cheapest I've found this gift set is from allbeauty.com at £16.50 which is great! For the 100ml bottle they have it at only £25.95 which is such a bargain! Imma buy it! :P
What perfume are you loving at the moment? xoxo

My Bargain Finds

Happy Friday everyone! I wanted to share a few bargains that I found this week with you! I'm starting to run out of dry shampoo and I wanted to get some more but I think the price for a can is quite a bit expensive. I got a deal last time on Groupon where you got 6 full size cans for £12.99 so me and my friend split the cost and got 3 each which was great! So I Googled dry shampoo and the website Chemist Direct was the first one that showed up. I clicked on it and found that they were doing all the different scents of Batiste dry shampoo for the same deal 6 full size cans for £12.00! So a bit cheaper than the deal I got on Groupon which was only on for a limited time. I've always wanted to try the cherry one as cherry is one of my fave scents so I decided to get 6 of them! The only thing is that you can't mix and match them in the deal but if you wanted to do that you could just pay for them separately I guess :). So yeah....these will last me forever!! I also got the 2 BarryM nail polishes from the same website and were only £2.15 each! They have tons of other brands as well so check it out! The Essie polishes are from another website called Direct Cosmetics and these were only £3.99 each which is amazing because it's basically half price as to what you would pay from getting them in Superdrug or Boots!

       1. BarryM - "Mint Green"
2. BarryM - "Pink Flamingo"
3. Essie - "Butler Please"
4. Essie - "Where's my chauffeur?"
5. Essie - "She's Pampered"
