Ciaté Mini Mani Manor 2014 Christmas Advent Calendar

Hey! I came across Ciaté's 2014 Christmas advent calendar on their website and it was on sale from £49 to only £14.70!! I couldn't resist such a good deal! Not too long a go I managed to get myself either the calendar from 2012 or 2013 from TKMaxx for only £20 so I didn't bother buying this one as I thought I would end up with lots of the same shades but since it was only £14.70 it was too good to not get it....and! I only got I think 2 shades that I already have so it was totally worth it :D.

July Glossy Box 2014 - Stars and Stripes

Hellooooo my lovelies! It's been a while since I've last posted so today I am back with my last Glossy box review. Yes that's right, my last one! I will be cancelling my subscription as I feel it's a waste of money for myself as I keep receiving products I wont use. It is sad but it's the right thing to do :).
This months theme is Stars and Stripes to celebrate the 4th of July in America. There are 3 things in this box that I will definitely use so I'm happy with that. These are also all full sized products which is great! I had enough glossy dots to get this box free so I didn't pay a penny for it :D.

Carmex - Lip Balm
"Loved by celebrities and makeup artists all over the world, Carmex is the original lip balm and the only way to sooth dry, chapped lips. With menthol, camphor and beeswax, lips are nourished, conditioned, and protected from the elements all year round. You need this staple in your bag!"
I love carmex lip balms so I'm really happy with this although it's not expensive so feel it's not very special to receive this in the box when I can just go out and get it at Tesco.
Application - "Apply to lips with a clean finger."
One size - £2.69                                                    Shop at - graftonsbeauty.co.uk

Bellapierre Cosmetics Ltd - Mineral Lipstick
"This cult American favourite is formulated with natural waxes, mineral pigments, and antioxidants including Vitamin C and Vitamin E, providing long lasting colour and protecton against the sun."
I don't own any lipsticks as I don't wear them. I might give this a go but would've rather had a bright red one because I've been tempted to just go all out and wear one on a night out haha! This colour is really pretty though :).
Application - "Smooth on lips for a slick of colour."
One size - £20 (holy moly!)                                         Shop at - bellapierre.co.uk

Absolute New York - Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer
"This oil free, ultra-creamy formula evens skin tone around the eye area and keeps eyeshadow crease-free and colour-true for a lasting look."
I wont use this so not excited about it!
Application - "Apply a thin layer over eyelids and gently blend with fingers to create an even base. Wear product alone to neutralise redness and brighten eyes pr layer under your favourite shadow for a prolonged vibrant colour."
One size - $4.99                                                                    Shop at - nicka.com

NYC New York Color - High Definition Felt Tip Liner - Extra
"Discover NYC's black liquid liner in the flexi felt tip. Simple. Pick a liner look, and then do it like a NY fashion week pro: first time."
I do like to wear liquid eye liner when I go on a night out so I'm excited to try this! The past felt tip liners I've tried haven't impressed me so far so hopefully this will :).
Application: "Draw along the top lash line with a closed eye for an easy application."
One size: £2.99 per pack                                            Shop at: superdrug.com

Color Club - Glossy Seal
"Color Club nail polish is proudly made in New York with only non-toxic, cruelty free ingredients. The shade Glossy Seal has been especially formulated for your July Glossybox!"
That's so cool how it's been made especially for this months box! I will definitely use this as you all know how much I love nail polish! You can't have too much of it :P
Application - "Apply 2 thin coats to clean, dry nails and seal with a top coat."
One size - $8 for 15ml                                            Shop at - shopcolorclub.com

So there we go, my July glossy box and my last glossy box! Who knows maybe I'll subscribe again but for now it's cancelled. I'd love to know what you thought of your box this month if you're subscribed.
Thanks for reading xoxo

BarryM Silk Nail Polish Colletion

Happy Friday everyone! :D Instead of packing I did a bit of shopping.....oops! I went into Superdrug and went straight the the BarryM cabinet which I knew was going to be a bad idea. They had a deal on as usual which was buy any 2 nail polishes from the £3.99 range and get them both for £6.00. I would have preferred their usual 3 for 2 deal as I could have got the whole silk collection but I just couldn't bring myself to buying all 6 of them so went for the 4 that stood out the most to me. I know this post has been done by loads of bloggers but I thought I'd share my opinions on them :)
I went for:

                                Blossom                                                           Pearl

                                        Heather                                                               Mist

Each of these colours are gorrrrrgeous!  I found it so difficult to choose my 4 but I'm so happy with my choices! My favourite has got to be Pearl. It's a gorgeous white. I went for this because I don't have a while polish and I love the finish of this. It reminds me of a wedding. I think I would use this for an accent nail and pair it one of the other colours. As for the other colours I love pastel colours so these are just absolutely gorgeous to me!
Have you tried any of these colours or the other two from the collection? Let me know what you think of them :) xoxo

P.s Just realised this is my 100th post yey!

Primark's New Nail Polish Collection - P.S.

Hey guys! Another nail polish post I'm afraid....just can't seem to get enough of them. I've noticed that Primark have brought out a new line of products called P.S which I'm not sure what it stands for but they have renamed all their beauty products with this name. I've also noticed that most of the products packaging have changed and I think it looks way better, nail polishes being one them. Instead of the packs of 4 polishes (which are still available) you can now buy them individually. They cost £1.00 each which is a bargain and I think you get more in them. They are also in square bottles which I think is way better. Here are a few that I have bought :)

Pros:
  • Cheap as chips
  • Great range of colours
  • Smell isn't too strong
  • Size of bottle is good size
Cons:
  • Chip very easily.....they are good for if you want to quickly paint your nail for the day and that day only.
Hope you enjoyed :) xoxo

Essie Wish List

Beautysets - Essie Wish List

I looooooove Essie nail polishes but still think they are on the expensive side for a nail polish. I own two from this brand and love them! I love the size of their brushes and how quickly they dry. I do hope to own more in the future and hopefully find them cheaper some where :P These are my faves at the moment and hope to add them to my collection :) xoxo

Magazine Bargain Of The Month #2

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a good week so far! I most certainly am as I am off work today and off to see the amazing Diversity tonight in Glasgow woohoo!! Anyway that's not what this post is about! I have decided to do a "Magazine Bargain Of The Month" post every month as I think these are so fun to do and everyone loves getting a bargain don't you? So if you haven't seen my last post about the bargains I got in last months then you can click here if you'd like to see that. So what I'll be doing is looking at the magazines every month to see what beauty products you can get for cheap prices!

This months is the January edition which is weird cause I didn't know magazines do a month in advance? So this is the Cosmopolitan magazine with the lovely Ellie Golden on the front page and this month you actually get the same nail polish you could've got in the December edition so I'm quite chuffed as I put it back last time and got Glamour magazine instead. For a full size Orly nail polish it retails at about £10.00 which is so expensive in my opinion but this a mini sized one which costs normally about £5.00 and the magazine cost me £3.60. It's called "Hair Band" which is a gorgeous gold glitter which is perfect for the Christmas period! There's 4 colours to choose from but I liked this one the most!

What do you think about me doing these posts? Do you like seeing what's on offer every month in magazines? Let me know :) xoxo

Superdrugs New Stand

Eeeeeeee!!! So I went into Superdrug (which is a drugstore in case any of you Americans don't know :P) today for a nosy since they've been refurbished and I wanted to look at the BarryM stand where I came across a new stand.......ESSIE!!! I have never seen an Essie stand before so I was so excited when I seen it! Although I do think they are quite expensive my aim is to buy 1 or 2 every month when I get paid for a little treat to myself :P There are sooooo many colours to choose from it's going to be difficult but I'll manage :) I just wanted to share this with you in case you didn't know either! If you have a favourite Essie nail polish then pleeeeeeease let me know which one it is so I can have a look and try it out :D xoxo
