December Glossybox 2016

A little late with posting this as we are now into January but I thought what the hell I can still share the December Glossybox before the January one arrives in my post.
The box is stunning. White with gold trimming around the edges and a gorgeous gold mistletoe detailing on the front with a gold glossybox label.
I was really impressed with this box as it included 5 full sized products and it was all makeup so this was great for me as I am still new to wearing makeup more often so I need to stock up on makeup.

ESSENCE - Light up your face luminizer palette

"This strobing trio can be applied individually or in combination over the cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose and above the lips. Each of the three powders have varying degrees of highlight, from a light pearl to a golden glow, giving you the versatility to go from day to night."

Highlighter is one of my favourite makeup products and is a must have so when I received this I was really excited! My favourite one is the middle shade as it is gorgeous! This palette is so affordable!

MDMflow - Semi-matte Lipstick in Bossy

"Florence Adepoju combined the knowledge she's gained as a cosmetic scientist with her love of music to create MDMflow. The range of lipsticks and mascaras is inspired by hip hop and formulated using the latest colour and skincare technology, meaning it feels as good as it looks. This semi-matte taupe nude was inspired by hip hop star Kelis and never fails to flatter, thanks to the subtle chocolate undertone."

We got to choose which colour we would prefer out of two shades. There was this one which a nude colour and there was a red shade. I found it hard to choose as the nude one is great for everyday wear but the red one was perfect for the festive season so yeah it was difficult to choose but I ended up going for the one I would get more use of so I chose the nude shade.
I don't think it's worth the price and I don't like the packaging it comes in but after reading about the background of the product, it makes sense as to why it's like that.

GOSH COPENHAGEN - Mono Eyeshadow in Dark Green

"Partner your lip with this rich forest shade. It's deep enough to draw attention to the eyes while still allowing your lips to make an impact."

I don't have a lot of eye shadows so this was perfect for me and it's such a pretty colour, perfect for what was the festive season.

REVLON - Nail Enamel in Gray Suede

"Revlon's nail colours are iconic and deliver an ultra smooth, ultra glossy finish. It isn't just chip resistant, it's chip defiant so you can admire 10 days of lasting colour and shine. This chic 'greige' lacquer looks thoroughly modern against a nude lip."

I love receiving a nail polish in my glossybox and I love this colour! It goes perfect with the lip stick I chose.

LIPCOTE - Browcote

"Balance your lip colour with defined, bold brows. The new waterproof, transparent gel tames and sets brows and eyebrow makeup for hours. The brush wand applicator glides on easily, tidying brows as it goes and setting the shape for a weightless finish that lasts."

I have never heard of of a brown setting gel before so I am excited to try this. My eyebrows are one of my favourite features of mine and I get compliments on them all the time so I will try anything to keep them looking great.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New year.
