Review: Girl Online by Zoe Sugg

I know I'm a bit late for jumping on the band wagon but I had to wait until Christmas to receive my copy of Girl Online. I finished the book a while a go but have just got round to finding the time to write my thoughts on the novel.

I absolutely loved it! I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it so I wont explain what the book is about but it made me keep on reading to the point where I didn't want to put the book down.
I think Zoe (Zoella) has done a great job and think that everyone who has given her a hard time because she had help to write it should give her a break! Of course she needed help to write it, it's her first book!
I love that it's a hard back book as I don't like when books have the paper cover over the hard cover as it just gets in the way ending in me taking it off so then it gets ripped and damaged....does that make sense?
I also love the colours Zoe's used for the front cover and all the little polaroid pictures.

I cannot wait for book number 2 which I am aware she has just finished as she announced it on Twitter this week.

Pros:
  • Hard back,
  • Front cover,
  • Gripping story.
No cons :D

  1. I absolutely loved the book too! So many people have said that they thought it was a bit childish and boring but I personally LOVED the story and found it so uplifting and easy to read! I don't have time for complicated books that are difficult to get in to!

  2. I enjoyed the book but it definitely wasn't aimed at someone of 25 to read.
I would buy her next book but only for review purposes

  4. I also loved this book, for her first ever novel I think Zoe has done really well!
As for those who were criticising her for using a 'ghost writer', I naturally assumed she would! Yes, she writes blog posts and such but writing an entire novel is a whole new kettle of fish!

From someone who has followed her before YouTube, I think she has done SO well for herself and good on her!

    1. Me too! Of course she would need help just the same as anyone would writing their first novel! She's done amazing! xoxo
