New Schedule!

Hey lovelies! I have created a new schedule for my blog as I feel it's a bit messy. Instead of blogging random posts on random days of the week I wanted to be more organised and have a schedule of what posts I'm going to write on what days. So, starting from tomorrow (Monday 13th) I am going to post everyday except Saturdays. Posting everyday sounds quite a lot but I'm looking forward to doing it and hopefully you lovely people will look forward to see what's coming. Let me know if you think it's too much though! Here is roughly what my schedule will consist of:

• Monday - An inspirational quote for the week - to help me get through those Monday blues :P
• Tuesday - A wish list - so anything I might have seen and want but can't afford
• Wednesday - A random post - so this could be a haul, nails of the week, my glossy box post, magazine bargain of the month, a review of a product or just a general chat really. 
• Thursday - A get the look post
• Friday - An outfit of the day (ootd) - a nice simple one for a friday as it's my day off work and is the only time I wear actual nice clothes as I basically live in my work clothes or jammies haha
• Saturday - This will be my day off from blogging as this is when my boyfriend is home so I want to spend it with him and not sitting on a laptop I hope you understand <3
• Sunday - My week in pictures

What do you think of this plan? If there are any other posts you think I should give a go then please feel free to let me know in the comments. Oh! Also, I've now got a facebook page which is https://www.facebook.com/gemstrends so would love it if you could "like" my page as I will be putting updates on there about posts and also because......no one likes it yet :( haha!

Frill Top Socks

     

Hello! Just a quick post on these amazing cute little socks I found in Internacionale yesterday. These were on 3 for £6 or they're £2.99 each. I went for all 3 as I couldn't resist the colours of them and for £6 that's quite good! From left to right we've got Mint, Coral and Lavender. If I had to choose a favourite pair out of the 3 it would be the Coral ones as that's my favourite colour. These socks are just so cute and will look great with a pair of boots and even if you can't see the colour of the socks at least you'll be able to see the cute frilly bit at the top just peeking over your boots. Magazine Bargain Of The Month #2

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a good week so far! I most certainly am as I am off work today and off to see the amazing Diversity tonight in Glasgow woohoo!! Anyway that's not what this post is about! I have decided to do a "Magazine Bargain Of The Month" post every month as I think these are so fun to do and everyone loves getting a bargain don't you? So if you haven't seen my last post about the bargains I got in last months then you can click here if you'd like to see that. So what I'll be doing is looking at the magazines every month to see what beauty products you can get for cheap prices! 

This months is the January edition which is weird cause I didn't know magazines do a month in advance? So this is the Cosmopolitan magazine with the lovely Ellie Golden on the front page and this month you actually get the same nail polish you could've got in the December edition so I'm quite chuffed as I put it back last time and got Glamour magazine instead. For a full size Orly nail polish it retails at about £10.00 which is so expensive in my opinion but this a mini sized one which costs normally about £5.00 and the magazine cost me £3.60. It's called "Hair Band" which is a gorgeous gold glitter which is perfect for the Christmas period! There's 4 colours to choose from but I liked this one the most!

My ring choice for today. A cute little eye which is so appropriate for wearing to work today as I work in an Opticians :p I think is so cute and love how it's blue. This was only £1.99 from H&M. Bargain!

Bodycon Style

Just bought this dress from www.missguided.co.uk in the sale for £20.99. I've never bought a bodycon dress so I bought it in a size up as I don't want every lump and bump to be on show. I went for it in black as black is so slimming and I love the cut out detail just above the stomach. I really hope this dress will look amazing on me just like it looks amazing on this model.
