"Happiness is a choice" - Quote of the week

               

A quote I've learned from my favourite YouTuber ShayCarl. It really is a choice. I try to remember this all the time, especially when I'm at work because you know...everyone has has bad days at their work but for me recently it seems to be everyday :( It's hard for me to try and not let things get to me for example, if a customer is not happy and gets angry. I know they're not angry at me but when they start t shout I tend to take it personally and I know I shouldn't! Anyway, this week I am going to try and remember this quote and have a happy week :)

Little Brotard is born!!

If you've been following me since I first started my blog then you will know I posted about the family who are famous on YouTube called The Shaytards.....for more info click here. To cut a long story short, they make daily vlogs and they have 4 kids and were expecting their 5th! Here's the vlog from Friday when the baby was born! You have got to watch it! It is absolutely amazing and so overwhelming. It brought tears to my eyes (happy ones of course) and I'm just so happy for them! I know it's 48 mins long but it's so worth it! 1. What is your favourite brand of make-up?

Well as I don't really wear make-up I don't really have one to be honest but I do quite like the BarryM collection.

     2. What is your dream job?

My dream job is to be a backing dancer for someone famous!

     3. Four places you have always wanted to travel to?

LA, Las Vegas, New York (I've been there before but want to go back) and Florida!

     4. If you could go back in time what era would you go back to?

I think I would want to back to the 90s again since that's the year I was born and the 90s were cool! :P

     5. Who is your idol or inspiration?

Right now it's definitely ShayCarl and Katilette from then Shaytards on YouTube! They are amazing people!

     6. Do you have any talents?

Not really just that I can dance :)

     7. What is your favourite TV show?

Oh dear this is such a hard question....I guess my all time favourite one was Desperate Housewives when it was on but now that it's finished it's got to be Greys Anatomy or Pretty Little Liars! I can't chooooooose!!!

     8. Who is your favourite fashion designer or favourite clothing brand?

Ugh I don't really have one but I do like Lipsy but I wouldn't say it was my favourite.

     9. If you could meet one person (dead or alive) who would it be?

I want to meet the Shaytards from YouTube sooooo badly! They are just amazing people and I would love for them to come do a meetup in the UK! If you don't know who I'm talking about then go check them out on YouTube :)

Get On Your Dancing Shoes

There is one thing that I love doing so much that I haven't done it in a long time. Dancing. 

Dancing is my all time favourite hobby which I grew up doing. I started off just by going to a dance class once a week where I would show up to the earlier class before my one because my little cousin went to so it made sense for me to go with her and wait. I would be sitting on the bench watching the kids dance just basically waiting for my turn :P. I remember one of our teachers asking me if I would be interested in helping out a bit with playing the music and stopping it when they needed me to and also taking the register and money before the class started. I thought this was great! 

Over time I then got asked how I would feel about actually teaching the class and they were gonna ask another girl who had just joined my class to help. This was amazing to me cause it was my dream to have my own dance class! We did this for a good few years and the feeling I used to get after seeing the kids dance my dance without any help was amazing!

As I got older I decided to try out dance college. The first year was amazing!! It was a hip hop course which was introduced the year I decided to audition which I was so excited for as the school is mainly contemporary and ballet based, so I was in my element! We did different styles of dance including hiphop, street dance, break dance, jazz, contemporary and ballet. After the first year they didn't continue with the hip hop course as people from my class dropped out before the end of year show so this looked like there wasn't enough interest to carry it on. This really upset me. Contemporary doesn't really excite me but I continued on with it and stayed for half of another year.

Now I don't dance at all. I miss it so much! So, I am so so so excited to be starting a new street dance class tomorrow and I hope I'm just as good as I was a few years a go and I am up for getting back in shape! It's gonna be tough to start with but I'm so excited! :D 

                    

Fave YouTube Family

I am a huge fan of the most amazing family on YouTube! If you havn't heard of the Shaytards then where have you been? The man who started it all is Shay Carl who decided one day that he was going to start making a vlog everyday for a year and post it to YouTube. His wife Colette (aka Katilette or Mommytard) supported him on his decision and they have been a major success! It's now 4 years on and they are still going!!! They had 3 gorgeous children (Sontard, Princesstard and Babytard) when they started and now have 4 (Rocktard) with another baby on the way! Rocktard was the first baby ever to be born on the internet and has had his whole life filmed! It's such an amazing story! You should totally go check them out! They are so inspirational and I honestly don't know what I'd do without they're videos. So here's a link to their YouTube channel and so go check them out :)
